Ronnie Phillips Glass - Badass Glass

F.A.Q.

WHERE AND HOW DO YOU MAKE THE GLASS

Ronnie Phillips Glass is located in Seattle, Washington, where each item is made by hand using traditional glass techniques without the use of molds. The glass we use is soda lime glass, which is comprised of approximately 60% sand and is melted in a large furnace at 2,100 degrees Fahrenheit. The gold used is 23k and imported from Italy where it is hammered by hand.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY PIECE OF GLASS

Gently wipe any debris or dust from the glass with a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth or paper towel. Occasionally a small spec of gold may be found on the cloth, but most of the unfused golds is removed before you receive your item. We do not recommend cleaning your glass using a dishwasher or with any abrasive materials as this may strip the gold or scratch the surface.

WILL THE GOLD RUB OFF

Any unfused gold is wiped away before you receive your item. Occasionally small specs of the gold may come off if you wipe aggressively at it, but this is minor and uncommon unless you are cleaning the glass in an improper way.

DO YOU USE REAL GOLD

Yes, the gold we use is imported from Italy and is 23k.

DO YOU EVER USE SILVER INSTEAD OF GOLD

Occasionally we will produce items using silver leaf. We are also happy to work with you on custom orders containing silver leaf.

THE PIECE I RECEIVED DOESN’T LOOK LIKE THE IMAGE ON YOUR WEBSITE

Each item is made by hand at Ronnie Phillips Glass. While shapes and density of color are carefully curated, the gold leaf and white cane work are applied specific to each piece. This means that your item is unique and individual. If you have specific desires for your item, please contact before shipment or ordering.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE

We do offer exchanges and returns on most items within certain conditions. Custom orders are unfortunately not available for returns or exchanges. Please see a more detailed description of our policy here.
